My Name is Steve Miller
I have been in the Construction and Home Building industry sense 1973. I started with John Deere Industrial Equipment Company in 1973. I ran Sales Territories in East Tennessee as well as Northern Vermont and New York. I worked in the Industrial Equipment factory in Dubuque Iowa writing and producing technical training videos.
I traveled throughout the United States and Canada presenting the John Deere version of the Xerox Professional Selling Skills Program.
I moved to Houston, Texas in 1980 and began work in the Home Building industry with GemCraft Homes. In 1986 I went to work with David Weekley Homes as VicePresident Training and Development. The company grew from 65 people to over 800 Team Members and was selected as the National Home Builder of the year by the time I left to start my "one man" consulting business in 1996. I have designed and implemented successful educational and training programs for the Home Building industry. My program curriculum include Leadership, Sales Training, Customer Satisfaction, Teams, Executive Retreats, Orientation Programs, and Listening and Communication Classes.
I furnish Customized Program Design and Presentation at a fraction of the cost of a Full Time Trainer or Training Department.
